Free Logistics Tools and Calculators

Nine free tools for ecommerce and ops teams shipping physical products. Every one runs in your browser, needs no signup or email address, and works out the same numbers your carrier, your 3PL, or your supplier is working from.

Work Out What a Shipment Will Actually Cost to Move

Carriers do not bill the number on your scale. They bill whichever is greater: actual weight or a volume-derived weight, and for LTL they bill by density class. These five tools turn carton dimensions into the numbers a carrier quotes from.

Compare What Fulfilment Providers Are Really Charging

Fulfilment quotes are hard to compare because no two providers break their pricing down the same way. These two put competing quotes onto the same cost lines so the cheapest headline rate stops winning by default.

From Purchase Order to Delivered Parcel

The tools follow the order of a real inbound-to-outbound cycle, and most of them hand a number to the next one.

  1. Raise the order. Build the purchase order for your supplier, with line items, tax and delivery terms, and send it as a PDF.
  2. Size the inbound shipment. Convert the supplier's carton dimensions into CBM to see how much container or pallet space the order needs.
  3. Check how it will be billed. Run the same cartons through volumetric or dimensional weight to find the billable weight, or freight class if it is moving LTL in the US.
  4. Cost the fulfilment side. Work out cost per order, and compare provider quotes on identical line items before you commit.
